CIMITERO DI SAN MICHELE

On San Michele island you’ll find a treasure trove of inestimable value, wrapped in tall cypresses. Dating back to the early 19th century, many famous figures elected this multi-confessional cemetery as the place to rest in peace: including the Russian ballet creator Sergei Diaghilev, the composer Igor Stravinsky, and the American poet Ezra Pound.
