MUSEO FRIDA KAHLO

Renowned Mexican artist Frida Kahlo was born in, and lived and died in, Casa Azul (Blue House), now a museum. The house is filled with mementos and personal belongings evoking her relationship with husband Diego Rivera and the leftist intellectual circle they often entertained there.

A secret jewel in the city, a museum featuring 50,000 pre-Hispanic objects that were collected by Rivera throughout his lifetime. The building is constructed of volcanic rock and evokes Mexico's indigenous histories and cultures.
