Ludovica Durelli on St. Tropez

An incurable “runaholic” and passionate traveler, Ludovica Durelli was born in Milan but has collected experiences worldwide, from Oxford to Shanghai. With great entrepreneurial drive, she embarked on her first adventure when she was only 22, selling t-shirts online to support various charities. A lot has happened since then: she got a Master in Marketing and has started working on a new fashion project with her brother. Ludovica has never stopped roaming the world, but her safe haven for the summer holidays has been St. Tropez for the past 25 years. So let her chic insider tips guide your perfect Tropezienne weekend!

BanH-Hoï The best choice for those who want to taste some delicious Asiatic food in an elegant and sophisticated environment. Located in the old town, it’s perfect for a cozy dinner or a romantic date.

Brasserie Des Arts My favorite place for a fun dinner with friends. Ever thought you would dance on tables while eating a fillet mignon with truffle puree? You will here! It’s something you must experience.

Auberge de la Mole If you’re passionate about fois grois, this will definitely be your “paradise on earth”. Located in a lovely village 20 minutes from bustling St. Tropez, it just has one small problem: there’s no way you can come here if you’re on a diet!

L’Operà This is currently the most well-known restaurant in town. If you’re here for a weekend and want to experience the “sparkling” side of St. Tropez (think champagne showers and the hottest girls ever) this is the place for you.

La Plage des Salins Overlooking the sea and far away from the city centre's hustle and bustle, it’s one of my favorite spots for an easy-going dinner. Their pizza is the best you can get in the area!

Hotel Ermitage A charming terrace with an amazing view, perfect for an aperitivo at sunset or a drink after dinner.

Terrace Byblos This is definitely the spot to meet up with friends and socialites before heading to les Caves. Their cocktails are delicious!

Senequier If the whole world passes by St. Tropez, then the whole world passes by Senequier! It’s an obligatory stop for anyone and THE meeting spot for both locals and celebrities.

Pan dei Palais A small, sophisticated, boutique hotel, right in the heart of town. Their 12 rooms are all immaculately decorated with an Oriental style. It’s closed to the public during the day, but it’s the most beautiful spot to have a drink before or after dinner.

Hotel Sube The hotel’s terrace offers unique views over the port, which is ideal during the famous regattas, “Le Voiles de Saint Tropez” in October!

Les Caves Du Roy I think I will never become tired of this club! It throws great parties with people from all over the world.

Bagatelle Beach My absolute favorite beach for all day partying with friends. Get ready for the craziest lunch ever!

Nioulargo Beach My favorite beach for a day spent chilling at Pampelonne!

Cap Taillat et La Bastide Blanche - If you get the chance, I would really recommend visiting Cap Taillat, a natural park just a few kilometers from St. Tropez, reachable both by boat or on foot. The crystal clear water coves and wild landscape will take your breath away! If you’re feeling really sporty, you can walk all the way to La Bastide Blanche, a white sandy beach with amazing waters. You won’t regret it!

Ramatuelle - You can’t miss this typical Provencal village with a radical chic vibe. Drink a cup of coffee in the main square - a spot loved by artists and writers - before getting lost in the tiny streets where time seems to stand still.

Barbarac Their ice cream is nothing like common ice cream, but once you taste it, you can’t stop, it’s just magnetic! This is why no matter the time of day or night, you’ll always find a long queue… But trust me, it’s totally worth it!

Saint Tropez Market Open on both Saturday and Tuesday morning, this is something I really love! Come here to buy food specialties, good quality cashmere, hats, decorated baskets and sandals.

Rondini Open since 1927, this is the only shop to find original handmade Tropezienne sandals. You can choose the color and the model that you prefer, and they’ll quickly make them for you. You can’t miss it!

Hotel La Figuière Outside the city’s chaos, this elegant, beachfront hotel, is fantastic for those who want to chill by the pool in a peaceful garden. A relaxing and charming choice.

Château de la Messardière This hotel is located in a park just outside the city centre, with breathtaking views over vineyards and the countryside stretching out to the sea. It has always given me the impression of a fairytale castle! If you don’t have a tight budget, this is the best place I could recommend.

Hotel Les Palmiers If your priority is location but have a limited budget, nothing will suite you better than this hotel. It’s a simple 3 star hotel, but it has the most convenient location

Résidence de la Pinède Dreaming of a romantic, relaxing holiday? I can’t think of a better place to recommend than this. It has it’s own private beach, a superb pool, impeccable service and a 3 star Michelin restaurant. No need to go out!
